The MAN adventure which started with the production of trucks in 1915 in Nürnberg, Germany. Shortly after, MAN produced his first bus carrying letters and packages. In 1924, MAN realized one of the important milestones by introducing the first diesel engine with direct injection. Thanks to this engine, businesses have reduced their fuel costs by 75%. In the same year, MAN produced its buses with a low vehicle chassis (Passenger car), used a different chassis for a bus for the first time. In 1932, MAN developed a four-wheel drive model of the fuel-efficient direct injection engine that they had previously produced. MAN played an important role in the restructuring of Germany after the Second World War. Also, MAN was instrumental in the development of the economy of the period with the V8 engine it developed in these years.

In 1955, MAN moved to her new production facility in Munich, leaving her factory in Nuremberg as an engine development center. In 1978, MAN achieved an important success by receiving the "Best Truck of the Year" award. Starting to develop environmentally friendly vehicles in 2010, MAN focuses on the production of trucks and buses powered by hybrid fuel and natural gas.
