RENAULT

The single-cylinder engine produced by Marius Berliet in Lyon, France in 1894 is considered the beginning of the Renault Trucks adventure. In 1900, Berliet produced the first self-propelled commercial vehicle. He produced his first truck in 1906 and produced a bus for use in Paris in the same year, which is the ancestor of the buses we use today. Renault, which started its first mass production during World War I, was producing 40 trucks a day to be sent to the fronts. Renault played a major role in the victory achieved by sending 600 vehicles to a front in France's war with the Germans.

In 1917, Renault had produced its first Tank. In 1928, Renault produced its first diesel truck. The company took the name RVI, Renault Vehicles Industries, in 1978. In 1990, Renault acquired Mack, the legendary American Truck. RVI came under the umbrella of VOLVO in 2001 and finally took its current name Renault Trucks in 2002.

Mesay Automotive has been a supplier of spare parts for Renault Trucks since 2002. MESAY entered the Renault Trucks market especially after VOLVO acquired RVI. MESAY has also made serious investments in this field and has expanded its stocks considerably since 2002. Renault Trucks increase its market share in the international market day by day. MESAY had already realized this potential of Renault Trucks that is why MESAY allocated a significant part of its R&D studies to the Renault Trucks.
